Cargo Ship Kuzma Minin Agroud of Cornwall

The Kuzma Minin, a Russian cargo ship, has run aground of the coast of Cornwall. At present no pollution has been reported.

The 16 000 tonne Russian bulk carrier Kuzma Minin ran aground on the West Coast of England, near Falmouth at about 0530 on Tuesday Morning. The UK Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) stated that the ship had dragged its anchor and is listing ca. 5 degrees. No pollution has been reported and the vessel was not carrying any cargo. The MCA has indicated that tugs will be used to refloat the vessel at high tide.
