MSC Zoe

Operations are ongoing to recover the last of the 281 containers lost from MSC Zoe.

Over 1200 tonnes of cargo has been recovered after 281 containers were lost from one of the worlds largest containerships, MSC Zoe on the 1 January 2019. 43 containers are still to be accounted for with two of these thought to contain hazzardous materials:Lithium batteries and dibenzoyl peroxide. The German Central Command for Maritime Emergencies and Dutch Coastguard are using vessels and aircraft in the search.
